Chelsea Wynter, ND, LAc
Dr. Wynter loves to fix things. Whether that be broken furniture, electronics or a person, Dr. Wynter finds joy in repairing broken people and things. Dr. Wynter wanted to become a doctor to help people and repair their disease or illness. She began her studies in Nevada studying Nutrition Science where she obtained her Bachelor’s Degree. She then went on to complete pre-med courses at Winston-Salem State University. She decided that traditional medical school was too focused on medications and surgery, so she decided to go to Naturopathic Medical school to study a more holistic approach to health care. She also went on to complete her Master’s Degree in Acupuncture at the same time as her Naturopathic Doctorate Degree. Following graduation, Dr. Wynter went on to study Acupuncture in China at the Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Shen Yang. Areas of focus include: fertility and prenatal health, pain management, addiction recovery, and emotional re-balance. During her spare time, you will see Dr. Wynter watching her husband play music at local venues downtown in Winston-Salem, or teaching and taking Zumba classes.
